Residence

2016 - present

The interior western landscape spreads out like a brush fire. Exposed. You head towards the shade of a tree, but it is ash. Shadows are stacked on top themselves. There is no hiding unless its inside a rock. This is an homage to its beauty and the people who are consumed by its light.

“So long as the heaven of Thou is spread out over me the winds of causality cower at my heels, and the whirlpool of fate stays its course…No deception penetrates here; here is the cradle of the Real Life.”

-Martin Buber
